ARTERWORKS LTD.
Is managed by Carol Arter, and undertakes a wide variety of art projects.
Having had a long career as a teacher prior to forming her own company in late 2003, work in schools and on community projects have become a pleasure, and have provided both challenges and good business during this time.
They have also maintained a link to working with children, a link Carol was reluctant to sever. The work has covered indoor/outdoor murals and playground games, in Kent, Norfolk and Hampshire.
Arterworks also undertakes private murals, transforming playrooms and bedrooms into magical places. Activity sessions for the elderly and private commissions are other aspects of the business.
Until recently Carol worked alone, but as the business grew she found it necessary to take on assistance and now has one of her three daughters, Hannah, employed as an artist/designer.
Hannah qualified at the Norwich Institute of Art and Design, where she studied textiles, and holds an HND in Craft.
